The Story Behind Tribal Drinks
Tribal Drinks Ltd was established to make science-led nutrition easier, more practical and more trustworthy for people building healthier daily routines.
Born in Galway, the City of the Tribes, our name reflects connection, belonging and shared progress. We believe in honouring our roots while creating a modern nutrition company built for the next generation of consumers.
Our mission is to develop evidence-led functional nutrition products that fit naturally into everyday life, helping people consistently consume the fibre, hydration and nutrients they need to support long-term health.
Why We Started
Tribal Drinks was founded by Brian Garvey after seeing how difficult it can be for people to maintain good daily nutrition habits when their health, appetite or routine changes.
After watching someone close to him go through a significant health journey involving metabolic health, diabetes and weight-management medication, Brian became increasingly interested in nutrition, gut health, metabolic health and functional ingredients.
He began speaking with clinicians, dietitians, pharmacists, formulators and ingredient suppliers to better understand where existing products were falling short and how everyday nutrition products could better support modern lifestyles.
One insight became increasingly clear:
People don't simply need more supplements. They need products that are easier to understand, easier to use and easier to build into a consistent daily routine.
Tribal Drinks was created to build those products.
